Clyde Park uncomprising approach to winemaking & viticulture has put it to the forefront of the Geelong region growth as a premium wine region of Australia.

This approach has seen Clyde Park awarded the 5 star rating again in James Halliday’s 2015 Wine Companion. Individual wines were recognised with great results – Clyde Park 2013 ‘F’ Block – 97 points,  Clyde Park 2013 ‘B2’Block – 95 points, Clyde Park 2013 ‘Estate’ Pinot – 95 points. This Estate wine also won Gold Medal & Trophy at last year’s Ballarat Wine Show for “Best Regional Pinot Noir”

As well the Clyde Park Pinot Noir was recognised in Campbell Mattinson new book of TOP 101 Reds in Australia.

With some of Geelong’s oldest vines in this cool climate region our approach in the vineyard is very much a hands on technique, whilst in the winery we adopt a hand’s off approach of allowing the fruit and terroir to come alive in every bottle.

Come and join us for lunch every weekend. Cheers Terry & Sue

The fruit for our Locale wines is specially sorted and selected from regional Geelong vineyards. These wines are made with minimalist approach ensuring maximum fruit intensity, flavour and structure. Locale wines are designed to deliver immediate satisfaction, yet will reward medium term cellaring.

The fruit for our Estate wines is grown at Clyde Park Vineyard. Clyde Park was established in 1979 and its vines are planted on the slopes and alluvial flats of a spacious amphitheater. These wines are grown in small blocks, each varying in aspect, elevation, soil type and clone. This results in wines with outstanding varietal character and flavour intensity.

The vineyard is the heart of Clyde Park- hand pruned, trained and harvested. These are vines proven that stand the test of time and hard elements such as serve drought, & aggressive frosts. It’s tough to grow fruit in Bannockburn, but rewarding once in the bottle. We hope that you see, sense & taste our vineyards terroir in this wine. These wines are only made in small parcels, and as such, have a very limited release. The best way to ensure you are able to purchase these wines is to be a member of the Clyde Park “Club Clyde”
