Clyde Park is situated overlooking the Moorabool Valley. It’s vines spread over the hills, and down to the river at the bottom.
We have a variety of wines planted in our vineyard, including: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. The first of these vines were planted over 15 years ago, and the vineyard has expanded over a vast area.
At Clyde Park, we aim to grow beautiful, high yielding and healthy vines that produce the best grapes possible. We would like to take the time to point out some of the ways we have made Clyde Park environmentally friendly and sustainable:
- Our wine barrels; 70% of our barrels purchased from France this year for 2013 vintage were 100% carbon neutral.
- No herbicides have been used in our vineyard for 4 plus years.
- We have planted mid row crops for better vegetation management.
This is just touching the surface of our long term goals, which will create a better, cleaner future and an environmentally friendly vineyard.
